Richard M. Coffina - is a Senior Vice President in Executive Recruiting for The Beam Group and manages all Financial Services searches in the United States. The Beam Group is a long-established and respected executive search firm with offices in mid-town Manhattan, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Connecticut.

Prior to joining The Beam Group in 1999, Dick had a long career with Bankers Trust with his most recent assignment as the Head of Human Resources and Managing Director for a network of seven global businesses. Over the years, Dick was on senior task forces, which developed this business through internal growth, and senior-level recruitment, as well as a series of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. Over the years he was responsible for the people elements of both growth and downsizing.

Dick also spent ten years as the Head of the Human Resources function for a global Asset Management business at Bankers Trust then having $260 billion in assets under management and a staff of 250 professionals with offices in New York, London and Tokyo.

Prior to this position, Dick headed all Human Resource activities for the Private Bank, which included its own asset management arm. This, too, was a global assignment with offices situated among the world's major wealth centers

Dick's experience in financial services began in Executive Placement, where he ran executive recruitment in the United States for three of the five years he was there. He spent another four years heading up Worldwide Compensation and Benefits for the bank at the corporate level.

Prior to beginning his Human Resources career, Dick served in the United States Air Force for four years, resigning as a Captain after having served assignments both in the United States and Southeast Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University.
