His experience includes responsibility for both line and staff functions, which has provided Mr. Glicksman with a practical understanding of the often complex issues associated with the corporate matrix. As Executive Vice President of Operations, he was the senior officer in charge of claims, policyholder services, sales and underwriting for a policyholder base of 1.8 million customers. As Senior Vice President of Staff Services, he was in charge of human resources, law, public relations and corporate administration for a work force of more than 3,500 employees. In this capacity, he chaired Colonial Penn Group's Pension Committee.

In his capacity as head of Human Resources, Mr. Glicksman recruited Colonial Penn's management team during a time when the company experienced its greatest growth, from $50 million to $1 billion in assets.

Mr. Glicksman served as both a Board Member and Chairman of the Board of Intramerica, a New York State life insurance company. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Philadelphia and Vicinity and is Chairman of that organization's Nominating Committee.

Mr. Glicksman formed The Beam Group in 1989 and has completed senior level searches in the Insurance, Investment Management, Banking, and Consumer Products industries. Mr. Glicksman holds a degree in Psychology from Gettysburg College, served on active duty as an officer in the U.S. Navy, and is listed in Who's Who in America.
